How Many Clothes Do You Throw Away Every Year?
'TRAID' is a charity working to stop clothes from being thrown away by turning clothes waste into funds and resources to reduce the environmental and social impacts of our clothes. It is a circular and sustainable approach to the problems of clothes waste tackling disposal production and consumption.
Traid charity reuse clothing for good by collecting from donor. The key income source from traid retail stores. And, after observation the sorting process at wembley factory. We found that it has a huge volume 6-7 tonnes per day but has only 5 staffs on the conveyor belt. Moreover, it feels unhygienic.

OUR SERVICE
'SORTIFY' helps donors to donate their clothes that convenience, transparency and utilisation. After customers sign up an account, we will send bags, tags, rubbers and instructions to their home based on their requested informations. Three bags are separated by the quality of clothes; Re-worn, Repurpose and Repair. Customers can easily roll their clothes, wrap it with the rubber band and put it in the right bag.
